Nam Phong Ho, CFA, QIAL, CIA, CISA, CISA and CRMA, is an internal audit leader with more than two decades of experience in governance, risk management and internal control. A Swiss national, he previously served as Chief Audit Executive of Glencore PLC, where he led the internal audit function and reported directly to the Board and senior management, providing independent assurance across a complex, global and highly regulated business.

Nam is closely involved with The Institute of Internal Auditors at global and national level. He is a quality assessor and course instructor for The IIA and for the IIA Switzerland, a lead training facilitator for The IIA globally, and part of the IIA Global Certification program. Through these roles he helps raise professional standards and supports internal audit functions in applying the Global Internal Audit Standards in practice.

He is known for practical, innovative approaches to auditing, including Scenario Simulation Testing, and his seminars cover governance, cybersecurity, communication and reporting, and internal audit’s role as a strategic advisor.

Nam is an international speaker and lecturer committed to ethics, integrity and inspiring the next generation of internal auditors.

He also leads Alpha Flow Zenith, a Swiss enterprise based in Zurich, and serves on the boards of several organisations.
