Angelica Bienz is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a certified audit expert. She has various certificates in Enterprise-Wide Risk Management, including the Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) certificate, and is a federally certified financial analyst and asset manager. She has over 25 years' experience dealing with operational and technological risks and their financial impact. Following her training, she spent many years working in risk management, underwriting and claims for a major international reinsurance company, after which she held senior internal audit positions in the financial industry. Throughout her career, she has worked at all levels of the three lines of defence (3 LoD) model. She has audited and consulted with clients from a variety of industries on risk management systems and concepts, risk maps and directives, and taxonomies and processes. She is passionate about holistic thinking and integrating strategic topics with sustainability and corporate finance. She is the managing owner of Audit & Risk GmbH, supporting clients in overcoming complex challenges in audit & assurance, risk management, and control systems.
