A well thought out and proven Business Continuity Management (BCM) is today a requirement for every company and ensures the existence of the business and the company. This seminar teaches you not only the basics of BCM but also how to define an adequate policy and governance and how to set up a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) from inception to testing. At the end of this seminar, you will be able to actively participate to or support the realization or activation of a BCP. Moreover, you can investigate the adequacy of a BCM program or of an individual BCP with respect to an organization's ambitions and policies.

  • Challenges when setting up a BCM program or an individual BCP
  • Key deliverables:
    • Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
    • Business Continuity Plan
    • Test plan and reporting
  • Practical exercises (participants will perform a BIA and build a BCP as well as a test scenario based on a fictitious case)
